Digital journalists from communities historically underrepresented in journalism are encouraged to apply for the ONA23 Diversity and Inclusion Scholarship — including but not limited to Black, Indigenous, and/or other people of color; people of the LGBTQ+ community; and disabled people. Scholarships provide complimentary registration to attend ONA23: Philadelphia Aug. 23-26 and/or ONA23: Onward, Sept. 28-29. Applicants may select one or both events.
Applications will be reviewed and selected on a rolling basis at the end of May and June. All applicants will receive notification of their status no later than July 15, 2023.
