Digital journalists working in organizations whose coverage focuses on rural, metro and local issues are encouraged to apply for the ONA23 Local News Scholarship. Recipients will receive complimentary registration to attend ONA23: Philadelphia Aug. 23-26, and/or ONA23: Onward, Sept. 28-29. Applicants my choose one or both events.
Applications will be reviewed and selected on a rolling basis at the end of May and June. All applicants will receive notification of their status no later than July 15.
The deadline to apply is June 29, 11:59 p.m. EDT (03:59 UTC).
