For the past two years, the James W. Foley Legacy Foundation and Head Set Immersive Ltd have partnered to provide safety training for nearly 80 journalists using virtual reality simulations. Offered both online and in-person, this training offers a unique opportunity for journalists to prepare for threats and risks using cutting edge technology blended with hands-on skills to prepare physically and emotionally for an increasingly hostile and violent environment.

During each one-hour session, participants will learn strategies to stay safe – physically and emotionally -- and have the opportunity to experience Head Set’s VR technology.

This session is also offered at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 24
