Cassie Haynes

Cassie Haynes is one of two co-Founders and former Co-Executive Director of Resolve Philly, a nonprofit newsroom dedicated to building and advancing community-driven, equitable, and solutions-oriented journalism. She has made significant contributions to local news in Philadelphia and continues to make an impact in newsrooms throughout the country via her consulting with Modifier, Resolve Philly's enterprise for practice change. Her leadership at Resolve Philly spearheaded transformative initiatives, forging partnerships and amplifying excluded voices. Cassie is a thought leader in solutions journalism and has been recognized nationally for her dedication to the future of local news. She continues to leverage her experience to drive narrative evolution and inspire sustainable innovation in the local news space. Cassie's work reflects her commitment to community resilience, amplifying underrepresented voices, and creating positive change. She currently resides in Ann Arbor, MI with her family.
