Hanaa Rifaey is the Founder and Principal of Press Forward LLC, a boutique consulting firm specializing in media and communications strategy, fundraising, and strategic planning. She has been a consultant for ONA since 2016, focused on connecting tech and media in the annual conference Midway. Previously, she served as the president of a nonprofit online news network, led national environmental campaigns, spent time on Capitol Hill, created international health advocacy groups, and advocated for civil rights post-9/11. Her diverse work has been featured in the Washington Post, Columbia Journalism Review, on MTV, in Feministing, and on countless blogs. Hanaa and her family moved back to her home state of Washington this summer, and she's thrilled to be back in the land of coffee shacks.
