Allison Dikanovic works with The Kansas City Star's service journalism, enterprise and accountability reporting teams to drive coverage that is responsive and helpful to Kansas Citians. Before coming to The Star, she worked as an engagement reporter at THE CITY in New York developing participatory, reader-driven projects, and in local newsrooms, classrooms and youth programs in Milwaukee. She was born and raised in Wisconsin and has degrees from Marquette University and the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY.
