Steven Rich has been an investigative data reporter at The Washington Post for the past decade. In that time, he has reported on projects spanning a wide variety of subject areas but has mostly focused on policing and opioids. His work has been recognized with two Pulitzer Prizes and five Pulitzer finalist designations. He was a longtime board member for the nonprofit group Investigative Reporters and Editors. In his spare time he runs his own woodshop.
